Drier Friday? Maybe!

The morning models are keeping a good bit of the shower and storm activity to our south today....but the models have also been struggling this year! Maybe we can squeeze in a drier day today!

This is the model total precip forecast through 10pm today. Notice how many areas remain dry!

With less storms and less clouds, it will be hot again today! Highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s with heat index values between 95 and 100.

As we go into the weekend, the SPC has introduced a level 1 out of 5 severe weather risk just to our NW on Saturday, then they move that into western TN for Sunday.
