Dangerous Heat Continues...

Heat alerts are in effect again today...with Heat Advisory in place for middle TN in the orange color, and Extreme Heat Warnings in effect for west TN in the pink.

Heat index readings statewide will be over 100 today, with readings over 105 in the advisory areas, and over 110 in the warning.

We may get a little break in the heat this weekend, before the heat ridge builds back in with a vengeance next week. In fact, next week may end up hotter overall than we are now!

Daily chances of pop-up storms will continue, so hopefully you get lucky and get a cooling shower some days!
